Vinyasa ($6 - Cash Only)

This class is taught by:

Dana Einhorn

Dana started practicing yoga in 2007 at what is now Coolidge Yoga, South End. At first, she looked at yoga as another workout class but as her physical asana practice grew deeper she began to realize how much more yoga had to offer and how it balanced other aspects of her life including a fast paced career in finance and a love of long distance running.

After moving abroad in 2008 she realized that yoga provided a home away not only as a grounding practice but also as a way to join a community and her practice deepened further. In May of 2017, after a decade in finance, Dana left the industry to complete her Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and upon her return completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification with The New School of Yogic Arts.

Dana has completed 3 marathons; Boston, London and New York, and countless other long distance road races. She continues to find new, innovative ways to combine and compliment her love of running and weightlifting with her practice of yoga asana, breathing and meditation.

Jenn Sullivan

After working for several years as a restaurant manager, Jenn Sullivan noticed the toll her job was taking on her, both physically and mentally. She never loved going to the gym and struggled to find a consistent workout routine that felt good to her body. Years before, she had tried yoga at a local gym, but didn’t like the classes. But when CCY opened up in Jenn’s neighborhood in 2013, she decided to give yoga another try. From her first studio yoga class, she found the balance that her life had been missing. She began to appreciate the connection between the mind and body that the physical practice brings, while creating an outlet to relieve stress and anxiety. Jenn has been a devoted practitioner ever since and has enjoyed seeing the strength the practice has given her, both physically and mentally.

With a BA in psychology from Boston College, Jenn has always been intrigued by the way the mind works. Because she wanted to delve further into her practice and herself, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with the New School of Yogic Arts in January 2017, and became a registered Yoga Alliance Teacher. She also completed a children’s yoga teacher training through the Kidsana Kids Yoga Teacher Training under Dawn Keighley. In her classes for both adults and children, Jenn strives to create a safe space to inspire students to use asana as a way to foster a deeper connection to their minds and bodies, both on and off the mat.

Lacey Gibson

Lacey Gibson is a small-town Midwesterner with British roots. She fell instantly in love with yoga while working as a cancer research undergrad intern in the midst of the Colorado mountains. As an NCAA Division I track and cross-country runner and Boston Marathon qualifier, Lacey was drawn to yoga’s message of “finding your edge” rather than pushing beyond it. She earned her RYT-200 from the New School of Yogic Arts in Boston while completing her Master of Science degree in Global Health and Population from Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health. As a Food Literacy Project Fellow at Harvard, Lacey also developed a passion for organizing wellness-inspired, food-themed events and workshops.
In addition to being a Boston-based yoga teacher, Lacey is also a freelance food writer, a lover of vegan baking, and a long-distance running junkie. In Lacey’s classes, students can expect a heaping dose of nourishing, organic, upbeat Vinyasa flow with an extra helping of mindful intention.
