meghan mWhat do you do when not the friendly face behind the desk?
I spend most of my days working in a greenhouse in Brighton. It's definitely the best job I've ever had. I get to work outside and play in dirt all day, what more could a girl ask for?

Where are you from and what brought you to Boston?
I'm originally from CT (shout out to the 860), moved up here for college and never left.

Fun fact about you?
I love to be and work outdoors, but I'm incredibly afraid of bugs. It's a work in progress, but I'm slowly getting used to seeing large terrifying critters.

Latest Yoga breakthrough?
Back-bending! I've been focusing a lot on how to do different types of back-bending and heart-openers, and lately I've just felt like I've been really strong and present during those poses.

Insiders tip?
Don't be afraid to ask your yoga instructor for help! It's okay to raise a hand and ask for help or adjustments! Sometimes I won't feel a stretch, so I usually just raise a hand and wait for the teacher to come help me out.

What has been the most rewarding aspect of being behind the desk?
CCY is my happy place. The calmness that it offers when you walk in, and the feeling of accomplishment when you walk out is something that I'm grateful for, and I'm not even talking about my yoga practice.
